The Carosella firm has been a long time client of WSI starting with their first website in 2009. Recently, the firm re-engaged WSI to rebuild their website to be more reflective of the firm’s current focus and to be mobile responsive to suit the modern site users. In addition, we are implementing an SEO plan for the new website in order to increase the firm’s visibility in their target client area.

The Main Street Gateway Project in Bellevue Washington. The Conco Companies provided the structural concrete package this mixed-use project. This includes the pumping, place and finish, shotcrete, and formwork along with supplying the reinforcement.
The Kinects Tower in Seattle Washington. This is a new mixed-use 41-story high-rise currently under construction. Once complete the tower will consist of 356 multi-family units varying from traditional studios to luxury penthouse suites located on the top two floors as well as 4,658 sq. ft. of retail space on the ground level. Conco’s is constructing four levels of below grade parking and five levels above to provide the building with 316 parking stalls.
LuXe -1650 Broadway Street, San Francisco. This project is a 34-unit condominium Conco is providing all of the concrete pumping and reinforcement services. In addition Conco is constructing two floors below ground that will contain 49 parking spaces for residents.
1650 Wewatta, Denver, Colorado. Conco was awarded a concrete contract by Holland Partners for a 21-story luxury apartment building next to the historic Union Station in downtown Denver. The building will include 288 apartment units, 260 parking spaces, and approximately 7,000 SF of retail space.

Salon Elite of Ventura is one of the top hair, skin and nail salons in Southern California serving clients from Santa Barbara to Thousand Oaks, California. They have been in business over 8 years and have a staff of twelve stylists, two estheticians and three nail technicians.
Problem: Salon Elite had an old, unattractive and dated website which they could not modify and did not reflect their high-end clientele. Their website was not mobile-friendly nor was it ranking for any keywords. In addition, the old site did not have a clear way to contact Salon Elite.

The Details of Google’s Mobile Algorithm Update
Google announced the mobile changes themselves, so we may as well take advantage of this rare occurrence and get our information straight from the source. Here's Google's summation of the update, taken from their announcement post:
"Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices."
Amidst the craziness about this admittedly important update, people seem to have missed the fact that Google's goal is extremely simple (not to mentioned completely in line with everything they've been working towards). Google wants to improve the searcher experience, and to do this, they need to ensure that the relevant, hight-quality content they've been pushing for is optimized for the mobile devices people are using. Is anybody truly surprised by this?
If you've been paying attention during the last year, you're probably more prepared for this update than you realize. You're churning out better content, you're involved socially and you're not involved in anything spammy or thin. Nothing can undo all this good work, so don't worry - you're still on the right track.
What You Need To Do
Another indication that the mobile update isn't just a penalizing update is the fact that Google is telling everybody exactly what they need to do. Along with announcing the what and the when, Google released in-depth resources to help webmasters improve their sites so that they meet the update's standards. Here's what you can do, right now:
1. Test Your Site - Google has created a mobile-friendly test that you can use to determine whether your site is ready for the update. What's clear about this update is that it's black and white; your site is either mobile-friendly or it's not, there's no middle ground. The test will only examine the exact URL you submit, so if your site has different components and page-types, make sure you analyze them all. This site has failed the mobile-friendly test, but if this were your site, Google doesn't leave you out in the cold wondering what the heck to do next. Whether you built the site yourself, used a CMS or had a third-party create the site for you, Google tells you what you need to do to make your site mobile-friendly.
